Dear Dr. Warren,
As Dr Rao has already quoted the literature (LML Jan 19th, 2011) showing that many of our pure/primary neural leprosy patients remain as such or some may develop skin lesions later on.
There are few pure neural case reports with single nerve involvement with LL pathology in the nerve. So, ideally all primary nerve lesion cases should be treated with multibacillary MDT regimen.
