Infoleps Choice of new (e) publications on leprosy

Leprosy Mailing List – January 10,  2016
Ref.: (LML) Infoleps Choice of new (e) publications on leprosy
From:  Jiske Erlings, Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Dear friends,

Happy New Year to you and your families!
2015 has been a busy and productive year for Infolep:
-       We added over 1130 items to the Infolep portal. The portal now offers easy access to more than 25.400 publications.
-       Leprosy is still the main topic but we have also included material on CBR, Disability, NTDs, Stigma and WASH.
-       The portal was used by 29.348 unique visitors from all over the world (versus 29.348 29.348 22.535 in 2014).
-       We dealt with about 200 requests for full text publications and literature searches.
-       We have made a start with the French interface.
In addition we have been working on development of a second portal: InfoNTD, the one-stop source for information on cross-cutting issues in Neglected Tropical diseases. It will go live very soon!

The development of InfoNTD builds on years of experience and success of Infolep. W
e would like to thank our partners American Leprosy Missions, DAHW, Damien Foundation, Fairmed, Fontilles, Fondation Raoul Follereau, Lepra and Leprosy Relief Canada for their continued support. With their help we can continue to strive for the best possible leprosy information services in 2016!
Below you will find a selection of recent publications on leprosy. Feel free to contact me to receive the full text versions if a link to the full text is not included.
Meanwhile you are warmly invited to:
- Use the portal at www.leprosy-information.org  and give us your feedback;
- Promote the portal and the availability of additional Infolep services in your network;
- Send us your publications on leprosy or material on leprosy in your language to include in the portal.
- Follow us on Facebook or Twitter.

With warm regards,

Jiske Erlings
