Leprosy Mailing List – March 11,  2022

Ref.:  (LML) Infolep monthly overview of new publications on leprosy - Mar '22

From:  Anniek Akerboom, Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Dear colleagues,

Save the date! On Thursday 7 and Friday 8 April 2022 (CET 13.30-17.00) the Leprosy Research Initiative is organising its annual Spring Meeting. The virtual event provides an opportunity to keep up-to-date with leprosy research projects and network with researchers around the globe. More information about the programme and the registration procedure will follow soon at the LRI website.

This year, the 21st International Leprosy Congress (ICL) will take place from 8 to 11 November as a hybrid conference. Go to the ILC website to find more information about the dates and times, the programme and the venue in Hyderabad. Be sure to send in abstracts before 31 May, and to complete the early-bird registration by 30 April.

The UN Special Rapporteur, Alice Cruz, has released her second newsletter. She summarises her presentation to the UN General Assembly on the urgent need to end shameful leprosy-related discrimination in law, presents highlights of her involvement in the 'Don't forget leprosy' campaign, and much more >>.

Enjoy reading the latest publications on leprosy and have a look at the coming events below. Also, I would be happy to assist you with literature searches on Infolep.

Warm regards,

Anniek Akerboom
