Ref.: (LML) ENL and pregnancy
From: Wim Theuvenet, the Netherlands; Narang Tarun, India
Dear Pieter,
In reply to the comments by Dr Ben Naafs:
When combining higher doses of Clofazamine in combination with corticosteroids, we prescribed antacids and used to monitor for occult gastrointestinal blood loss! Is that still advisable?
Best regards,
Wim Theuvenet

Dear Pieter,
I would also like to point out here that methotrexate is also contraindicated during pregnancy, although azathioprine can be an option as it has been used in pregnant females with pemphigus.
However, the most important aspect of management of ENL is identifying the triggering factors and taking care of these.
Regards,
Narang Tarun
