From:  Roos Geutjes and Sophie Vissers, Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Dear colleagues,

Make sure to read the August InfoNTD newsletter until the end as it is packed with new events and funding calls! It also contains many audio(visual) resources, instruction manuals on basic wound dressing, a special section on climate change related research, a scoping review on the impact of COVID-19 on NTDs and a global burden of disease study about NTDs and people aged 15-39 years old

We want to highlight the 1st edition of the Community Skin Health Journal: the Official Journal of the International Foundation for Dermatology. Many interesting topics are covered in this issue such as the WHO Skin Mobile App. Check the website to read the issue and subscribe.

Additionally, we have some thrilling news: the new navigation menu is live! We are very happy with the improvements in navigation functionality and search speed. We have also added "Online Courses" to the menu, and a new section on "News and Events", and a link to our new eLearning platform which will be officially launched in October.

To help you make the most of these updates, here's a quick guide on using the new search menu: Via the button "Search Resources," you are now able to search for scientific publications, practical resources, online courses, information, and organizations in one menu. You can narrow your search by using the filter options. Moreover, we are interested in hearing about your experiences with the new website, especially any feedback you may have.

Warm regards,

Roos Geutjes and Sophie Vissers

This is the second edition of the InCORNTD and this meeting aims to bring together key stakeholders to address how to eliminate NTDs from the African region through operational and carefully focused research.
You can share the challenges you are facing in eliminating NTDs that may benefit from a breakout session discussion or operational research via this survey (
en français, em português, in English) by August 31.

GDPR & the InfoNTD newsletter

New EU data protection regulations came into force on 25 May 2018. We have been reviewing our practices with regards to the GDPR, including our
privacy statement and mailing list.

InfoNTD sends out monthly e-mails with an overview of recent publications on NTDs and cross-cutting issues. The purpose of this activity is to keep subscribers up to date.

InfoNTD will only process the data we have (names, email addresses) for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. We take your security seriously and will never share your contact details with anyone else.

You can
update your preferences or unsubscribe from this list at any time.
