Dear Pieter,
Thank you very much for the timely post while we are in the process of planning sessions for the 20th ILC.
I take this opportunity to include in the thread the group and team who conducted some two years ago a forum on Partnership for Zero Leprosy initiated by the Novartis Foundation together with the Department of Health, NLCP together with the Regional Program Managers,Patient Organizations represented by The Coaltion of Leprosy Advocates (CLAP); Sanitaria, Philippine Dermatoligical Society & Partner Dermatology Training Hospitals and major partners. I hope they will consider and avail of this invitation to join and collaborate with the Global Partnership for Zero Leprosy (GPZL) thru the Secretariat just posted.
Personally, I believe the Global Leprosy Program Managers and their respective countries be included for active participation and collaboration with the GPZL
Lest I miss to thank the groups and people who initiated the Zero Leprosy Program in the Philippines,I wish to thank Ms Christine Fajardo of Novartis Foundation, Philippines and her team, Swiss Embassy, DOH NLCP team and our partners especially our front-line leprosy health workers le by our local leprosy program managers.
To LML editors, contributors and readers thank you for the continued updates and support for leprosy service. See you all at the 20th International Leprosy Conference In Manila September 10-13,2019.
