Dear Doctor / Professor,

 

We are collecting data on leprosy in order to make a census of new patients that are present in Countries of the WHO European Region.  Useful information are:

-        Country of WHO European region*

-        number of new cases

-        origin (autochthonous and imported)

-        source of data collection and / or web address where you get the information from:

·         official source (government agency, research institute)

·         unofficial (newspaper, website)

-               The data can be reported for period of several years. Indicate the range considered

-               The date can be reported per year:

·         2011

·         2010

·         2009

·         2008

·         2007

·         2006

·         2005

·         2004

·         2003

·         2002

·         2001

·         2000

-       additional documents that may be useful

-       in your Country, is leprosy an infectious disease requiring notification to the authorities?

 

The purpose of this data collection is to bridge the gap present in the epidemiology of leprosy in the WHO European Region.  The data will be used to write an article indicating the name of all participants.
