Dear Pieter,
This updates and reiteration of the use of Rifampicin by Dr Diana Lockwood together with the insights by respected colleagues is very timely. The Philippines National Leprosy Control Program (NLCP) is currently updating its Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) for Frontline workers, Partners and Stakeholders.
We found it necessary after the just concluded International Leprosy Congress held in Manila. The papers presented, various researches and poster presentations was instrumental for the need to update our NLCP CPG.
We also have to acknowledge the great importance and value of the Leprosy Mailing List which is an indispensable tool in sharing updates. For these thank you very much for always including us.
