Leprosy Mailing List – June 1, 2022
Ref.: (LML) New publications on leprosy - June 2022
From: Anniek Akerboom, Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Dear colleagues,
In the past month, the National Leprosy Programmes of Côte d'Ivoire, Uganda, and Tanzania have convened partners and held workshops to develop national action plans to achieve zero leprosy. These plans outline specific targets, key activities, and resources needed to achieve no disease, no disability, and no discrimination or stigma in each country. Find more news from GPZL here.
Two major conferences are ahead of us! The 21st International Leprosy Congress (ILC) and the NTD NGO Network (NNN) Conference 2022:
- Abstract submission for the ILC has been extended until 15 June. Make sure to register for the ILC and send in your abstracts.
- Registrations and workshop submissions for the NNN Conference 2022 are now open. Be sure to complete the early bird registration until 7 June and submit your workshop proposal by 6 June.
Enjoy reading the latest publications on leprosy and have a look at the coming events below. Also, I would be happy to assist you with literature searches on Infolep.
Warm regards,
Anniek Akerboom
