The International Leprosy Congress (ILC) is an important global event to bring together academicians, scientists, researchers, Health care workers and key stakeholders in the field of leprosy together to discuss recent evidence from present evidence, research, experiences from national programmes and perspectives of different partner organizations including the persons affected by leprosy. It was decided at Manila ILC-2019 that the 21st ILC will be held in India in the year 2022. I am happy to make the first communication to the members of LML about the 21st ILC through this mail and will be posting the updates regularly.
The 21st ILC is being jointly organized by the Indian Association of Leprologists (IAL), The Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists & Leprologists (IADVL), the Central Leprosy Division (CLD), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India and under the auspices of the International Leprosy Association (ILA). The 21st ILC will be held from 8-11 November 2022 at Hyderabad, India as a HYBRID conference (with both physical conference and web-based sessions) with more than 110 hours of scientific deliberations. The venue is HITEX Convention Centre, Hyderabad, India.
We on behalf of ILC Organising committees invite and welcome all the members of LML to the 21stILC. The details regarding the congress are available at the website https://www.ilc-india2022.com. Please note that the website will be periodically updated with the conference information.

7-8 November: Pre-congress meetings
8th to 10th November 2022: Web-based conference: (5 pm -10 pm)
9th to 11th November 2022: Physical conference (9am to 4.30 pm with live feed)
11th November (5 pm to 9 pm): Closing ceremony and Fellowship dinner
Registration:
Early bird registration: Open now and will close by 30th April, 2022
Regular registration: 1st May - 31st August, 2022
Late/ Onsite registration: 1st September – 7th November, 2022
Abstract submission:
Opens on: 1st March, 2022
Closes on: 31st May, 2022.
Information on the outcome of abstract submission: 15th June, 2022
The draft list of topics / scientific sessions is available at the website (to be updated). We invite and welcome members to organise to submit their important research work for presentation at this congress through the web portal from 1st March. The registration links at the website are already active. We look forward to the participation of all members of LML in this conference to make this congress a successful scientific event. We also invite you all to Hyderabad, India to attend this congress physically.
