Leprosy Mailing List – August 20, 2024
Ref.: (LML) New Publications On Cross-Cutting Issues In NTDs. July, 2024.
From: Roos Geutjes and Sophie Vissers, Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Dear colleagues,
Make sure to read the August InfoNTD newsletter until the end as it is packed with new events and funding calls! It also contains many audio(visual) resources, instruction manuals on basic wound dressing, a special section on climate change related research, a scoping review on the impact of COVID-19 on NTDs and a global burden of disease study about NTDs and people aged 15-39 years old.
We want to highlight the 1st edition of the Community Skin Health Journal: the Official Journal of the International Foundation for Dermatology. Many interesting topics are covered in this issue such as the WHO Skin Mobile App. Check the website to read the issue and subscribe.
Additionally, we have some thrilling news: the new navigation menu is live! We are very happy with the improvements in navigation functionality and search speed. We have also added "Online Courses" to the menu, and a new section on "News and Events", and a link to our new eLearning platform which will be officially launched in October.
To help you make the most of these updates, here's a quick guide on using the new search menu: Via the button "Search Resources," you are now able to search for scientific publications, practical resources, online courses, information, and organizations in one menu. You can narrow your search by using the filter options. Moreover, we are interested in hearing about your experiences with the new website, especially any feedback you may have.
Warm regards,
Roos Geutjes and Sophie Vissers
