Hello all,
Recently I created an organisation called Global Leprosy Alliance For Zero Stigma (GLAZS)
The members of the entity consist of four main groups:
1. Core group - people affected by Leprosy, their family and friends - the core group as of now is 5 members, and we will open this group to another 5.
2. Advisory group - This group could consist of individuals from NGOs, health systems, individuals from communities who matter and those who want to be there.
3. Support group - This group are people who want to know, understand and contribute to the cause.
4. Significant members from the government, society, business & industry, education and religious leadership
I would like to invite individuals from the world of leprosy to offer themselves to become part of the team 2 and 3.
The first action we propose to take is to:
Understand the System in which Leprosy, the work of Leprosy and those who are affected, their families and those who work for leprosy exist.
In brief - we want to enquire - What is the system? Do we understand the system? How can the system's understanding impact the work of Leprosy?
