Dear Pieter,
Thank you very much for referring to the whole blog that is listed in the LML mails (LML blog link: http://leprosymailinglist.blogspot.it/). It helps fill in lots of gaps that many of us have missed out. One thing I would request is that when initials are used in an article could the full words be included (in brackets) after the first use as many readers are learning and do not know the abbreviations that have been used for years. It is easy for the new comers to get a wrong meaning and then they lose the whole point of the article. In one article I saw recently the abbreviation NTD was misprinted as NDT- goodness knows what the writer thought he was writing about (or maybe it is me that is out of date!!!). I am aware that I need to learn a lot yet to be really up to date with all the advances, but do my best to help the new comers to understand the disease and methods of care.
Thank you and the others involved in this collection with so many explanations.
Grace Warren.
