Many thanks for the opportunity to respond to Mangal (Mangul Bahadur Tharu, INF Nepal, Jan. 5, 2016: “I am a staff involved in leprosy work since 24 years at a non-profit NGO named International Nepal Fellowship-Nepal and I am trying to submit an abstract for ILC2016. While trying to upload my abstract in system, there is one information required "Affiliation number" that I could not understand and could not enter. I will be grateful if you prove link or contact detail whom I can ask about or answer me about affiliation number. Kindly help me?”).
Firstly we welcome the submission of abstracts from Nepal. I can understand the confusion about the ‘affiliation number’ and I am grateful for identifying this. It gives me the opportunity to explain this for the benefit of others who are submitting abstracts.
In the abstract submission there is a section named ‘Organization of Authors’ where you can give details of the organization of the authors, but if the authors come from more than one organization then the details of each organization should be entered and each organization is given an affiliation number starting with number 1. The next section asks for the details of each author including the affiliation number from the section ‘Organization of Authors’, if all the authors come from the same organization then the affiliation number will be 1. If authors come from different organizations listed under ‘Organization of Authors’ then the affiliation number for each author will refer to the affiliation number of their own Organization.
If there are any other questions about abstract submission for the Congress please let me know as soon as possible.
The deadline for abstract submissions is 15th February 2016.
