Dear Dr Schreuder,
I am happy to inform our members that Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) is planning to conduct series of CME and workshops on leprosy, for the benefit of its members and fellow leprosy practitioners in next few months to strengthen clinical skills & revisit important areas of leprosy such as NFI. The first such meeting is slated to be held at Hyderabad in September, 2013.
As a part of this programme, we are planning train /re-train members about methods to identify NFI early. During this meeting we are hoping to give away SW filament sets to the members. We are expecting a about 300 members ( dermatologists and general practitioners) to enroll for each CME&workshop.
In this regard, we are unable to locate the supplier /source of graded SW filaments in India. I would be grateful if members of LML group can help to know the provider of the same either in India or from outside India.
Also, I would extremely grateful if any international leprosy agency can provide us these to be given to our members free or on a subsidy. I request and hope that it would be possible for you to post this mail to this group.
